Booking one of the properties at Country Ways in North Devon is quickest and easiest when using our online booking calendar. Simply select your preferred arrival date followed by the number of nights you wish to stay, a price will be quoted.

If you are happy with the dates selected and price quoted, simply click on the highlighted ‘Book Now’ button to be directed to our online booking form. Booking Details

To secure a booking at one of the properties we require a 30% deposit (plus a 3% booking fee) with the outstanding balance due eight weeks prior to arrival. Please note a £100.00 per property security deposit is to be paid with the balance and all being well is returned within seven working days of your departure. Payment methods accepted when booking include debit/credit card, PayPal, cheque and bank transfer. For more information on booking or making a payment please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Bookings and enquiries relating to enjoying a holiday at one of the cottages or bell tents at Country Ways are managed by My Favourite Cottages, a small, independent holiday cottage agency based in North Devon. My Favourite Cottages are open seven days a week from 9am to 8pm and can be contacted using one of the following methods.


How do we book?The easiest and quickest way to book one of the cottages at Country Ways is via our online booking calendar, however, you can also book via email or on 01271 377 432.
Can we book more than one property?Yes, multiple cottages or bell tents can be booked.
What payment methods are accepted?We accept payments via credit/debit card, cheque, PayPal and bank transfer.
What is the minimum stay?The minimum stay at one of the properties is normally two nights, however, please let us know if you are interested in alternative dates that the calendar does not provide a price for.
What deposit is required?To secure a booking at one of our properties we require a 30% deposit with the outstanding balance due eight weeks prior to arrival.
What is the refundable security deposit and when does it get returned?A £100.00 refundable security deposit is required per property. The security deposit is to cover any possible damage and all being well is returned within seven working days of your departure.
What is in the welcome pack?On arrival at the cottage you will find all bed linen and towels (including towels for use in the hot tub if applicable), tea towels, dish cloths, liquid soap, all purpose cleaner, a selection of complimentary hot drinks, a small amount of milk for when you arrive and the first loo roll in each bathroom.
Are dogs welcome in all the cottages?Yes, dogs are welcome in all cottages apart from The Dray. Please note we currently only accept one dog per cottage, however, on request depending on age, size and breed we may be able to accommodate an additional dog per property - please contact us via email or on 01271 377 432 for more information.
Is there a charge for bringing a dog?Yes, dogs are charged at an additional £20.00 each.
Do you provide a special welcome pack for dogs/Yes, dogs get their own welcome hamper with a blanket, towels, pooh bags and bowls for food and water.
Are there any additional charges for using the sofa bed?Yes, there is a £25 charge per sofa bed per stay.
What is the arrival and departure time?Arrival is anytime from 3:30pm and departure is before 9:30am.
What car parking is available?There are two car parks onsite. The first car park is for accommodation and each property has a dedicated parking space in this car, with guests staying in Warren and Cuckoo’s Nest have two dedicated parking spaces. If you have additional cars these can be parked in the overflow car park. Please note car parking is done on a first come first serve basis.
Can any welcome hampers or day to day essentials be ordered or bought onsite?Cream tea hampers can be delivered for arrival at a cost of £6.50 per person and a few day to day essentials can be purchased in the main reception.
