Country Ways is a beautiful holiday complex set in 42 acres with 18 acres of ancient woodland in the heart of the North Devon countryside. With views of the rolling hills and excellent onsite facilities to entertain all ages, Country Ways provides the perfect setting for family holidays or weekends away with friends.
Country Ways offers six holiday cottages. These range in size and cater for either a short break or longer stays. The holiday cottages have been tastefully renovated from the original stone milking barns and stables giving them a warm luxurious feel. Country Ways welcomes guests throughout the year. Each cottage has been finished to a very high standard and comes well-equipped. Four of the cottages are dog friendly and three come complete with their own private hot tub. One of the holiday cottages also caters for guests with disabilities and is fully accessible.

The Warren comfortably sleeps 7-9 guests in three bedrooms. The dog friendly cottage has an enclosed patio to the front and is perfect for families or groups of friends.

Sleeping up to six, Cuckoo’s Nest is our most luxurious cottage with its own private hot tub and countryside views. The character cottage has three bedrooms and welcomes dogs.

One of the smaller cottages is The Den, a one bedroom cottage with a hot tub, suitable for couples or small families. The dog friendly cottage has a double bedroom and an additional fold out bed.

The Dray is fondly known as the couple's favourite holiday cottage. Perfect for a romantic weekend away, the one bedroom cottage has a double bed plus additional sofa bed.

The fully accessible Stables comfortably sleeps up to five in two bedrooms with an additional single located in the quirky hayloft. The cottage has a private decking area with a hot tub.
The newly refurbished Burrows is ideal for couples or small families. The one bedroom cottage has a double bed plus an additional sofa bed.
As well as six onsite holiday cottages, Country Ways is home to three beautiful bell tents. The bell tents, which are available from April through to October accommodate either two or four guests and have been furnished to a high standard to guarantee a comfortable stay. Each bell tent has its own private decking area and guests are welcome to use all the onsite facilities.

Whilst staying at Country Ways, guests will have access to a wide array of onsite facilities suitable for entertaining all ages. There is a licenced bar available on certain evenings, a games room, a sauna and acres of woodlands, fields and orchards to explore. Children and adults alike can also join in with seasonal activities such as bottle feeding lambs and apple pressing.
For day to day essentials, reception stocks a small selection of groceries, cream teas can also be arranged on request and there is an onsite laundry should you require it.

Country Ways provides the perfect countryside setting for saying ‘I do’. This beautiful wedding venue in North Devon is available all year round to book. Included in the cost of your wedding at Country Ways is the onsite holiday cottages, use of the grounds, the licenced Corn Barn plus much more.
Country Ways can also cater for other events providing guests with a private and fully exclusive venue to celebrate a special occasion. Corporate events and conferences are also welcome with the versatile space available to host seminars, conferences and team building exercises for up to 70 people.
Country Ways is situated in the heart of the North Devon countryside. The complex is located in the rural village of High Bickington, which lies within equal distance of Torrington, Barnstaple and South Molton and enjoys spectacular views over the valley towards Exmoor.
Within the local area there are two nearby pubs, a post office and a community shop; further shops, pubs and restaurants can be found in the larger neighbouring towns. The 18-hole golf course at Libbaton is also close by and the beach at Westward Ho! is less than a 30-minute drive.
